Nueva Mutua Sanitaria’s Hospitalisation Allowance provides you with a daily cash benefit if you are hospitalised due to an accident or illness. You can use this benefit to help cover expenses arising from your hospital stay, such as travel costs for family members, childcare, domestic assistance, or any other everyday expenses you consider a priority.
Choose the level of protection that best suits your needs from four different coverage options. Depending on the plan you select, you will receive a daily benefit of €30, €60, €90 or €120, doubled for stays in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), for up to one year.

A stay in a hospital for more than 24 hours for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes, as prescribed by a doctor.
365 days in the event of hospitalization and 4 days in the event of home recovery prescribed by a doctor, as specified in the Specific Conditions. This clause does not apply if more than six months have elapsed between the medical discharge date in one period and the date of medical leave in the subsequent period.
The amount of compensation is determined by the insured capital, and there are four allowance tiers to choose from. In any case, you will be paid twice as much for your stay in the ICU. Furthermore, if a doctor orders home recovery, you can receive 50% of the capital sum for a maximum of 4 days.
The waiting period is 6 months and 8 months in the case of childbirth.

Send your medical discharge report and the hospital stay certificate to Nueva Mutua Sanitaria, along with the number of days spent on the ward and/or ICU, as well as the date and time of admission and discharge.
A transfer to the account where the premium is paid will be made within 15 working days of the date of delivery of the documentation.
